I have a question for my fellow artist. I plan on buying a Cintiq 12WX when I am done with college within the next 6 months. I have an all in one computer that does not have a vga or dvi port. My computer is less than a year old so I think it could handle the cintiq that I plan on getting. I read up on the vga/dvi to usb adapters that are used for monitors, but I am wondering will it work with a cintiq as well since essentially a cintiq is an extra monitor? I plan on getting the cintiq cause I hear it makes things a lot faster when it comes to coloring art. I have a few books I plan on getting busy on once I am finally done with college and if they are as good as they say they are, I plan on getting a lot of use out of it. Right now I am using an Intous3. Had it since 2008, and it still works, so Wacom is a brand I trust. I was also thinking about getting the Yiynova MSP19 as well because of the 19 inch screen, but not sure as well. I really have eye on the Cintiq 12WX. I know that it is expensive, but I already have money put away, but like I said I would like to wait until I am finally done with school because I know that it would distract me from my studies.
