Update

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is doing well. Just doing my little social call here.

First off I would like everyone to know that I am concentrating on draing more scene type art work. I am slowly getting away from doing the chick pin-up type work. I am going to try and challange myself and do things that I am not used to doing. I just finished a drawing and inking a piece yesterday. All I have to do now is lay down the colors in photoshop, and then I can post it. I like the way that it came out. I am thinking of a name to call it now, but basically it is a pic that is in a metropolitan area. It has my main hero Artisan-X, the female version ho him that I created for deviant Angelcrusher theme of drawing your character as the oppisite sex, Artisan-X's father, and his daughter fighting a jacked clone version of Artisan-X. Keep in mind that all these characters exist at different times, but in this pic they are all in their prime. Like I said I like the way the inks came out. But just like all my art, once you add color to them, they look totally different. So if you see any new pin-up pics on my page, its probably because I drew them a while back and am just getting around to adding the colors. By the way I am loving my WACOM tablet. Using a mouse and gradients are almost a thing of the past. Well I still used to mouse, to add flats, but you know what I mean. Before owning a tablet, gradeints were my best friend. Question, does anyone dislike laying down flats as much as I do. Its so boring, and I lose motivation on my art when I am applying them.

On another note, I was doing some thinking, am I actually good enough to do commisions. I keep telling myself that I am not ready for it, but lately I have been feeling like I have been lying to myself. You know I cant really do them now, because I have a very busy schedule with the Navy right now, but if I didnt would I be able to get some done? Well may be next year, once I am done with this 6-9 month deployment that I have to do, may be I will try. Who knows? May be I will be good enough by then. What do you think? You can be honest with me. Dont worry, I dont think there is anyone who doesnt have room for improvement.

Now that I said all that, I just realized that I do have to do another pin-up. I have to do one for 4,000 views. I have close to 3800 now, and I would like to do one for 4,000. I see other deviants do it and it looks pretty damn cool to me.
